The upgrade of the roads leading to and from our Cambridge Office Park is progressing very well and we are approaching the final stages before opening the Bauhinia/Olievenhoutbosch link road.
It is a serious engineering project with lots of detail! To give you an idea of what still needs to be done before the road is opened at the end of the month here is what is on the to-do list:
- Laying of asphalt
- Trenching and installation of electrical cable to traffic light
- Pre marking of road
- Installation of traffic light at Olievenhoutbosch
- Final inspection before opening
- Signage and temporary signage on site before opening
- Opening and commissioning of road set for 10h00 on April 2nd 2012
At the opening several key players have to be on site:
- Road markings sub-contractors
- Signal (traffic light) contractor
- Officials from Tshwane
- Contracting Company Engineers
- The Success Academy representatives
